are we there yet?

D: hurry up weekend!!

I’m so tired of doing stuff and dealing with people and stressing over little things just because I have so many of them to take care of. At least I’m not having too much trouble working tonight, hopefully I won’t be up until the crack of dawn. Already, though, I’ve started one logo, written about half of my paper, and made my flashcards for my healthcare test. Still no end in sight.  What helps is knowing that as soon as I hit a roadblock on one task, I can just put it aside and pick up the next one. They are all physically within arms reach.

and so I give myself a pat on the back.

I’ve been so emotionally detached from everything else lately. Everyone else’s problems are just immediately pushed to the back of my mind because I’m so afraid of losing focus. Maybe I’m turning into a robot.

“

My best friend was raped when she turned 18 became pregnant.

Yes, she went to Planned Parenthood and yes she did get an abortion. It was her choice. She went to Planned Parenthood to get help. They gave her advice, counseling and never made her feel she HAD to get an abortion. It was HER choice to do so.

Well, five years later her sister becomes pregnant and wanted to keep the child.

Yes, she went to Planned Parenthood and NO they didn’t tell her to get an abortion. They helped her find a doctor, they had classed to help her and the father prepare for the labor and when the baby was born they even gave her baby food and clothes.

When speaking to them they both say the same thing. That Planned Parenthood was a blessing and they never pushed them to do anything they didn’t want to do.

And the really sad thing. The sister was spit on and called horrible names by protesters as she went into the Planned Parenthood building Her boyfriend said he had a rock hit him in the back as he tried to block her from them. She was still pregnant and was keeping the baby. But those protesters didn’t care.

Commenter VA Voter on Susan B. Anthony List Launches Ad Campaign Targeting Planned Parenthood

More evidence that many “pro-life” protesters are just there to harass, not help. Perhaps if they educated themselves about what Planned Parenthood does (not just abortions), they’d stop hurting people and see that PP is a godsend.

Like I said earlier, I really don’t think there’s another place in the US where you can get affordable abortions or prenatal care.

Dubstep is the only thing I can listen to and still productively write a paper.
